The Burger is OUT! | Francis & Bea’s Baby Shower Story | Stacy’s BGC
A few weeks back we had a surprise party for Bea, which was all planned by her funny husband, Francis. But as of this writing their Baby, “Burger” had already said hello to the world, yesterday! Hehe cute. I believe she’s made the world a better place already, just by making Bea a mother and Francis, a Father. 🙂 Can you believe it? Next year, they will be greeting each other already “Happy Mother’s Day ” and “Happy Father’s Day!” Kidding aside, this couple is notorious for having tons of laugh out loud moments. It’s really part of their character to pop out jokes and funny musings that people just…

Samantha’s Hi5 Party ( 5th Birthday Celebration)
Hey Look it’s Sam! If you’ve been following our work, she was the ballerina baby girl who had her party in a studio last year 🙂 This time around, Sam got to celebrate her 5th birthday in one of her favorite places — her school! It’s not everyday that we get thrown back in time, wondering how things were when we were littler, but for this shoot, we truly got immersed in Sam’s world. Singing, dancing, and learning… Exploring and discovering. One of the things that I distinctly admire about this fun crew is… the amount of attention they give to finding out what Sam really wants, and also… making…

Princess Velasco | Family Portraits at the Coffee Project
It feels like my heart grows bigger every time I get to meet the children of my clients. Apart from celebrating more milestones with them, their growing family serves as an inspiration to me, and I am also reminded, why being a photographer is a meaningful profession. We take photos so that we can remember blessings that we are grateful for. And it also serves as a reminder, that we’re ready for more! Princess first graced our blog with a feature article with Smart Parenting. Now she has come back with her loving husband Doc Bistek, and KOBE, our tiny Time Traveler who is now three! Time really does fly.…

Hey It’s Dylan! | Ascott Hotel Makati
One thing I really enjoy about photographing families is that it’s always a lovely riot! There’s that neat portion when everyone is on pause and posed, but, chasing spontaneous and candid moments also add a lot of energy into the session. Dindi and Mark decided to celebrate their first year of life with Dylan through a photoshoot. While editing, I still found myself laughing loud, being reminded about the day of the shoot. Dylan’s cousins, uncles, aunties and grandparents were also there to share moments with them. How nice to be in the position of writing about this little boy through photos, and contributing precious moments to their family’s history.…

Hugo’s Birthday PAWty | Kidzooona, Eastwood City Libis
It’s our second time shooting at Kidzooona, and it’s really nice to see both kids and adults enjoy in the same play ground. In celebration of Hugo’s first year, Mom Keena and Dad Cito came up with a PAWty. Yes, you read that right. We’ve got paws and puppies fused into their theme. I can’t wait to show you the treats at the dessert buffet, but you’ll see that later on. As for party favors and souvenirs, guests could even “adopt a puppy!” We’ve had loads and loads of smile and laughter that day. Okay now… time to enjoy the photos! Kidzooona Eastwood Styling and Dessert Buffet by Sugar Rush…

The Journey is the Reward: Reflections About Coming Home
*COMING HOME* For many years, shooting for us meant that we’d go far, go places, explore and jump into adventure. However as of recent travels ( and shoots), we’ve come to realize that every time we do what we love to do, we the surfers of time, come closer and closer to whatever we’d treat as home. After the shoot we do come home, to our families, our favorite people, and yes, even to ourselves. When you feel at home with yourself, whether you go near, or far, whether you go simple or extra-special, you will always feel like you have already arrived instead of constantly waiting, and thinking about…

Raffy and Carmela | Engagement Session | Urdaneta Village
Photographing families, kids and babies have long occupied the base of my heart. Even when I’m shooting weddings, I tend to follow my tiny friends who are usually the nephews or nieces of our clients. In the case of Raffy and Carmela, well, let’s just say I had met “Mea” at a time that she could still pass off as a flower girl. She is one of my sister’s closest friends and it is such a great thing that they have managed to stay in touch, as they leaf through new chapters in life. Because of that, she too is like family to me. Congratulations Raffy and Carmela! God Bless…

Turtle Power! Rafa’s First Birthday | Urdaneta Clubhouse
A few months or weeks before Rafa’s birthday, his parents were already dropping hints about their preparation and the possible theme for their party. You see, birthday parties, much like weddings and other family occasions, also take a lot of work, organizing and planning. If you ask me, what I most admire in the preparation process, is really the teamwork that happens, between husband and wife. The excitement they get out of building something really memorable creates for them that cool journey, of doing things, together with so much joy :). It amazes me too, that their family and friends are always available, to pause… and party! They’re never too…
