One with Nature at El Jardin de Zaida
I truly cherish the times when my two loves cross paths — quality time & traveling. Even though staying at home is not really a foreign or distant idea to many of us anymore, there will always be something that will make my heart jump when I become reunited with nature, fresh air, lots of sunlight and yes…wide open spaces! I’m writing this blog entry to once again give inspiration and ideas for families who are also looking for ways to continue making life memorable, while still putting health and safety as a top priority. I hope also, that as you browse the photos, you will be able to relax…

Getting to Know Julie
These days, I feel I miss flying. But, dwelling on such does not really make things better…flying in good memories does! By now, my niece Julie is six. We met in Singapore when she was less than a year old, and then, time flew! It’s a good thing we spent time together, to collect evidence about how the Lord loves her. Now we’ve actually got something to cherish and look back at. Lovely parents, Leo and Wanying with Julie. Met my cousin Leo on my Grand parent’s Golden Wedding, Anniversary… when I was six! We were rehearsing to a cousin-group performance of “Getting to Know You” from the movie, “The…

Moments with the Laycos | Chapters at Home
Counting blessings comes in many forms. But, I believe that when you make your blessings count, and you share them they eventually multiply. Last November, our super cute and energetic little lady, ATARA, turned three and she greeted her new year with a princes Jasmine themed photo shoot! Little did she know that she will be really jumping into a whole new world :).We just got news that the family found out over the Holidays that she’s going to be an ATE (big sister) soon! 😉 Congrats again on your new Chapter & may more and more blessings chase after you! 😉

At Home with the Sisons | Family Portraits
Laughter is the best heirloom. 🙂 Our family shoots are actually available all year round. But it is during the holidays when shoots like these are most remembered and appreciated. Although there are more ways these days to stay in touch with family, there is that one that that cannot yet be replaced — it’s the family noise! The funny banters between siblings, cousins, husband and wife, grand parents and grand children, is something that is unique to every family. The familiarity of course… allows for these kinds of funny exchanges to be totally and absolutely necessary. And I just love how, priceless moments, captured in stills will be reminding…

Princess Velasco | Family Portraits at the Coffee Project
It feels like my heart grows bigger every time I get to meet the children of my clients. Apart from celebrating more milestones with them, their growing family serves as an inspiration to me, and I am also reminded, why being a photographer is a meaningful profession. We take photos so that we can remember blessings that we are grateful for. And it also serves as a reminder, that we’re ready for more! Princess first graced our blog with a feature article with Smart Parenting. Now she has come back with her loving husband Doc Bistek, and KOBE, our tiny Time Traveler who is now three! Time really does fly.…

Hey It’s Dylan! | Ascott Hotel Makati
One thing I really enjoy about photographing families is that it’s always a lovely riot! There’s that neat portion when everyone is on pause and posed, but, chasing spontaneous and candid moments also add a lot of energy into the session. Dindi and Mark decided to celebrate their first year of life with Dylan through a photoshoot. While editing, I still found myself laughing loud, being reminded about the day of the shoot. Dylan’s cousins, uncles, aunties and grandparents were also there to share moments with them. How nice to be in the position of writing about this little boy through photos, and contributing precious moments to their family’s history.…

Hugo’s Birthday PAWty | Kidzooona, Eastwood City Libis
It’s our second time shooting at Kidzooona, and it’s really nice to see both kids and adults enjoy in the same play ground. In celebration of Hugo’s first year, Mom Keena and Dad Cito came up with a PAWty. Yes, you read that right. We’ve got paws and puppies fused into their theme. I can’t wait to show you the treats at the dessert buffet, but you’ll see that later on. As for party favors and souvenirs, guests could even “adopt a puppy!” We’ve had loads and loads of smile and laughter that day. Okay now… time to enjoy the photos! Family Time: Kakam, Mea and Riley | Ateneo de Manila University
There’s something very sweet and tender about going back to your roots. For Kakam who has studied in Ateneo, returning to the grounds that help shape how he is as husband to Mea and a dad to their son Riley, is a nostalgic feat. It is also in this campus where dormers Mea and Kakam first met and eventually became a couple. One sunny afternoon, we found ourselves, looking back at our own journey as classmates, and also looking forward to how this little guy Riley sees his own adventure. Running around, tripping, Â standing up and learning how to walk again, are just some life lessons which are also applicable…

Coming Home to Inay | Portraits at Manila Orchidarium
I’ve been photographing lots of young families lately, and have been assisting them on preserving their moments through print. While checking out my hard drive, I stumbled upon an old photoshoot that I felt was still relevant to share. Shooting weddings, portraits, and birthday parties, has really helped to grow my heart for families ( clients, and even my own as well).  Can you Imagine how big your family may be around 25-30 years from today? Have you ever though that you may have actually given birth to the best of your friends? In truth, this really is, a Post Mother’s Day blog entry dedicated to moms of all seasons…
