Lately, I’ve been serving clients who are flying in for the holidays, to be reunited with their Philippine-based family members. This to me, makes my work even more meaningful because I get to collect and preserve precious moments for families who will also be creating new roots, abroad. They could have had the baptism ceremony held at their new home town (abroad), but they particularly chose to back to share the journey with their parents and loved ones. Sofia’s Birthday Bash | Relish Hello Happiness
Small events are becoming widely popular lately because families really just want to get together and make good memories. Often times, these happen when a member of the family is celebrating their birthday. For the Medina Family, this occasion is a double celebration. Sofia, their youngest member has just been baptized at the time of this photoshoot, and they decided to celebrate it in Quezon City, at pretty and cozy restaurant in Tomas Morato called, Relish Hello Happiness. Our family is God's first gift to us. This is a message that I always get reminded of whenever I shoot events like baptismal ceremonies. I enter the church premises with my gear on hand and "work-to-do" but I also believe that my own Father, God, is happy to see me come home to him whenever I get to serve in His house.Â
