Sofia’s Baptism | Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
For pandemic babies like Sofia, their baptism ceremony had to be scheduled a little later than ones I usually meet (3-6 months), so that the safety of all the family members can be observed. After two years of being in the arms of her parents, I finally met Sofia 🙂 She’s my third time traveling -baby friend from this family! And I’ve also welcomed her two older brothers during the baptism and birthdays 🙂 I call them time travelers, because I only get to be reunited with the families that I have photographed whenever they have occasions to celebrate. In between those periods, there’s a lot of growth that happens.…

Celebrating Life with Hannah: A Grad Party Story
LET’S TIME TRAVEL! It’s not so long ago when I photographed the baptism of my godchild, Hannah. And It blew my mind when suddenly she has already graduated from grade school! My heart fluttered a bit when she entered the venue, and quite frankly, I lost my words too! I don’t even remember what I had said apart from “Congrats!” I was surprised at how time has flown once again. And before I knew it, laughter has exploded as more family members entered our beautiful venue in Marikina. We also played some games that the family and kids enjoyed, which my very good friend (Mommy) Meg prepared. We had a…

Ana’s Cocomelon Celebration!
When you’ve been covering milestones for a family for a decade, you begin to feel like you’re somewhat a cousin too! And to be reunited as the pandemic is coming to an end, is nothing short of a miracle. We thank our Lord for our health and His provisions, in this case, we even welcomed a new member to our Time Traveling family: Ana! It was so nice to meet the family again 🙂 We had started our journey together during Darwin and Stacey’s Prenup shoot. And at one point we even appeared in a feature article together at Manila Bulletin! (Thanks to the Picture Perfect Team!) As we reconnected…

Make Happy Moments at Lola Cafe
I’m a huge fan of quality time. It’s the kind of appointment that is actually a ‘time-out’ from the busyness of life in a week, a month or even a year! And though recharging may come in different strokes for different folks, I believe going on get-togethers and feasting on delicious meals will always be part of the list. Following Baby Geo’s baptism is an intimate, program-less reception at LOLA CAFE, just the way the family loves it. 🙂 An exchange of stories, and life’s blessings was happening among family and friends — some even flew in from abroad for the event. Isn’t it amazing how children keep on bring…

5 Tips for Intimate Baptism Preparations
Social events has been reopening in the country, and households are once again including face-to-face (F2F) celebrations as part of their regular bonding activities. These days, if you are not part of the celebrant’s side, you are probably, a guest! In either case, it’s a joy to be reunited with loved ones. When the revered triad of time, health and responsibilities fall neatly on a wide open plate, my goodness! Please do take a bite by saying yes to invitations (unless of course you are introverting to recharge)! You might not realize that loneliness waved hello, until you get out of your cave and start seeing your people again! Warm…

Geo’s Christ the King Greenmeadows Baptism
Every journey starts with a tiny step. And for Justin and Aisel, this tiny step is a leap into God’s plan. A few months ago, they were anointed to become Geo’s parents here on earth. And in response to this answered prayer, we celebrated life together through Geo’s baptism at Christ the King Greenmeadows. This Church is significant to the couple because it is the same place where they got to solemnize their marriage. it has been a witness to God’s goodness in their lives, so they decided to go back to mark a new chapter: A Life with Geo! Want to see more Christ the King Greenmeadows Baptisms? Here…

Aisel’s First Mommy Portraits
This maternity shoot is actually an extension of the post “Aisel and Justin’s Answered Prayer“. We had a lot of fun, and so we had a lot of photos 🙂 But for this set, we used some props that they brought because they said they wanted to tell their child that the world experienced a pandemic, but that the Lord continued to bless Aisel and Justin. They experienced a pandemic wedding, a pregnancy in the pandemic, and will soon be welcoming a pandemic baby. PS. The cravings were also documented. I think they can expect a very sweet child. 🙂 Have a safe delivery, see you soon and enjoy the…

Aisel and Justin’s Answered Prayer
It’s always fun to take photos of friends. You think you know them already because you see them ‘often’, but when you meet them at a portrait session, it feels a little more special. You also realize that you’re in a super cool situation, because they are sharing with you, an answered prayer. I once said that it’s very cool to be a guardian of good memories, for little children. But every time I do photography, I’m reminded that I am THAT child too, because the Lord is our Father. When I work with His children ( like Aisel and Justin), He too ensures that He makes good and fun…

One with Nature at El Jardin de Zaida
I truly cherish the times when my two loves cross paths — quality time & traveling. Even though staying at home is not really a foreign or distant idea to many of us anymore, there will always be something that will make my heart jump when I become reunited with nature, fresh air, lots of sunlight and yes…wide open spaces! I’m writing this blog entry to once again give inspiration and ideas for families who are also looking for ways to continue making life memorable, while still putting health and safety as a top priority. I hope also, that as you browse the photos, you will be able to relax…
