I was sitting in a class on Creative MBA a few years back when I first saw her giving a talk, and thought, Hey! We went to school together! When she released the “Assumption Handwriting” Font, my friends and I found it really cool because, it reminded us of the days when we had to practice writing during our penmanship classes ( oh hello there, nostalgia!). Rainforest Lumina | Singapore Zoo, Singapore
On a recent trip to Singapore, I got a chance to see Singapore Zoo’s newest attraction called, Rainforest Lumina. I usually play a lot with earth colors and neutrals during my shoots, because they’re very relaxing for me, but this set is totally out of this world! A quick trip outside of my comfort zone, You’ll see here my love for lines, patterns and details. It was truly memorable for our group, and in truth, photos nor videos will never really be enough to tell you about it. It’s very unique, and yes, quite one of a kind. It was a random -Yes- that I had said to my friend Lianne, who invited me for a day trip at Masungi Georeserve, Baras Rizal. My normal reply would probably be a no or not yet, since I often stayed away from activities that were physically challenging for such a sporty person as me ( bwahaha!). *COMING HOME* For many years, shooting for us meant that we’d go far, go places, explore and jump into adventure. However as of recent travels ( and shoots), we’ve come to realize that every time we do what we love to do, we the surfers of time, come closer and closer to whatever we’d treat as home.
