Indoor Playground Party for Hunter and Marlee
Parents are always looking for ways to make their celebrations more memorable for their children. Instead of having a full program for their kids, Moms Weki and Diane chose to hold a joint birthday party for sons Marlee & Hunter, in an indoor playground in Quezon City (Treehaus @ 84 Hemady). The children just spent their time running around the venue and creating their own games! This is a really good idea especially if you love candid photos… like me! As a fan of Inside Out 1 & 2, I always feel energized when I think about my work as a photographer that seeks to create core memories for children…

Make Happy Moments at Lola Cafe
I’m a huge fan of quality time. It’s the kind of appointment that is actually a ‘time-out’ from the busyness of life in a week, a month or even a year! And though recharging may come in different strokes for different folks, I believe going on get-togethers and feasting on delicious meals will always be part of the list. Following Baby Geo’s baptism is an intimate, program-less reception at LOLA CAFE, just the way the family loves it. 🙂 An exchange of stories, and life’s blessings was happening among family and friends — some even flew in from abroad for the event. Isn’t it amazing how children keep on bring…

Geo’s Christ the King Greenmeadows Baptism
Every journey starts with a tiny step. And for Justin and Aisel, this tiny step is a leap into God’s plan. A few months ago, they were anointed to become Geo’s parents here on earth. And in response to this answered prayer, we celebrated life together through Geo’s baptism at Christ the King Greenmeadows. This Church is significant to the couple because it is the same place where they got to solemnize their marriage. it has been a witness to God’s goodness in their lives, so they decided to go back to mark a new chapter: A Life with Geo! Want to see more Christ the King Greenmeadows Baptisms? Here…

How to Make a Halloween Party at Home
Many families find it really tricky to keep things colorful and exciting for kids at home especially for halloween. During the pre-pandemic years we would probably have events for kids roaming around in malls, and in their villages and subdivisions – while they wear costumes – these days it is still recommended to stay at home. I remembered a house party which I got to attend and shoot in Singapore some years back, which up to this date still brings me loads of fun and good memories. What’s so cool about this party is, it’s a birthday celebration for a little girl named Ashley, who was turning three at that…

Chapters at Home with Bea | DIY Celebration
As God’s blessings continue to pour out in the lives of families inside a pandemic, one way to remain grateful is to accept the situation, trust that God has a plan, and continue to live a grateful life. For Irvin and Tina who have been blessed with three children putting God first is really a non-negotiable. We celebrated their daughter’s baptism at the Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish Church, followed by lunch at home with their family members who couldn’t attend the ceremony. A “Baptizoom” link was also provided for the friends who wanted to celebrate this milestone with Team Domingo. This event is made extra special because of…

Bea’s Baptism | Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish Church
God is truly a way maker and He doesn’t hesitate showering His children with blessings. He is faithful and His love does endure forever. The presentation in the temple is… the 4th JOYFUL mystery, in the rosary. And whenever I encounter this mystery, I feel like work is not just work, but a participation in the life of Jesus, specifically — the Child Jesus. These days, family events and celebrations may seem smaller than what used to be small. And baptisms are not spared from this “simplification”. But then again, we are all reminded that, when it comes to connecting with our Father God, the only essential is… time. Meet…

Getting to Know Julie
These days, I feel I miss flying. But, dwelling on such does not really make things better…flying in good memories does! By now, my niece Julie is six. We met in Singapore when she was less than a year old, and then, time flew! It’s a good thing we spent time together, to collect evidence about how the Lord loves her. Now we’ve actually got something to cherish and look back at. Lovely parents, Leo and Wanying with Julie. Met my cousin Leo on my Grand parent’s Golden Wedding, Anniversary… when I was six! We were rehearsing to a cousin-group performance of “Getting to Know You” from the movie, “The…

Olivia’s Portraits as a Flower Girl | Chapters at Home
Hello! It’s me! 🙂 I’ve been doing my photo series “Chapters at Home” for about six months now, and so far the journey has been life giving. Why? Because through these sessions, we get to spend time together with clients, who inspite of the pandemic, are letting hope rule in their heart, by constantly looking for ways to count blessings. Through these portrait sessions, I always am reminded of the verse “Perfect Love casts out fear.” Olivia is now a year older, from the first time we met, at her baptism. I got to meet her, in a new role (chapter), that this year has offered her — as a…

Atara Turns 3 | Chapters at Home
A whole new world— Indeed! Sometimes I find myself wondering about how to tell my tiny friends like Atara (3YO), about this season, where Covid-19 seem to have robbed a lot of families of good memories. But, what I’ve learned is that accepting the situation does not mean defeat. It means, “okay-and?”. This is exactly what happened when we had Atara’s birthday portraits. Her parents, Ashby and Josh, were determined to make sure that Atara’s heart will be filled with loads of laughter, so they were preparing a home-based virtual party where Atara’s friends were invited on Zoom. 🙂 Isn’t that inspiring? 🙂 To celebrate her special day, we had…

Tea Time with Atara! | Birthday Portraits
Atara’s Birthday Portraits Our shoot was truly a family affair in celebration of Atara’s second birthday. One unsuspecting Saturday was suddenly turned into an instant house party… Bringing siblings and cousins together, just to play with Atara, and cheer her on during our photo shoot. This shoot was made extra special because the styling and set design was done by no other than Atara’s Mom, Ashby! 🙂 Anyway I won’t keep y’all waiting! Enjoy the photos ! Watch out for part 2 of Atara’s photo shoot on our next post, feat. photos with Mommy and Daddy!
