Thanks to my mom who loved to take snapshots of our moments and milestones, I’ve got a way to imagine how things were. Party for a Champ: Rum Turns Two!
Our hero Rum, just turned two! This little guy, my super cute nephew, is the first in our family’s next generation of champions. I love how he has brought so much love and togetherness ( and pictures!) to our family. His first photo shoot with us was when he was about six months old. Riona’s Matryoshka Doll Themed Party | Corinthian Gardens Clubhouse
Just a little back story… About a year ago, I had a photo shoot gig with Smart Parenting, wherein we were tasked to feature a restaurant with a kid friendly menu and facilities. The article and photos about Project Pie is still online (just in case you want to check it out) as penned by Steph Esguerra. After the shoot, Derek and Pinky who were just having lunch at that time, kindly invited us over at their table and we shared our pizza creations and stories together. David’s First Birthday Party | Valle Verde I Clubhouse
Probably one of my earliest documented (memories) with Anna H., was actually in a birthday party. We had started being friends as little girls at ( Mary Knoll and Assumption) tagging along with our brothers who were classmates in Ateneo GS. Little did we know that, X-number of years later she and I would find each other celebrating life together, as she hits an awesome milestone in having been blessed with a beautiful family. I get to meet her husband Mike for the first time, and of course our cool celebrant David.

Lucas Turns 1 | Gymboree Manila Polo Club
Lucas celebrated his first birthday at Gymboree Manila Polo Club, where his Mom Rizzie and Daddy Bom put together a Mickey Mouse-themed party. They are both based in Singapore but it’s really amazing how they are able to put together such a nice party, with really no dull moment in it! Our tiny friend Lucas had the time of his life crawling and playing around Gymboree along with many kids ( and their parents too!). There were cool activities that were prepared for kids to enjoy like painting wooden cars and airplanes for little guys. Sean Turns One! | A Circus Themed Party
Sean’s first birthday celebration was really exploding with color. Festive balloons lined up the ceiling of the venue giving every guest a quick moment to go “wow!” as they enter through the center door of the party hall. Apart from a really entertaining circus show prepared for both the young and the young at heart, Vany and Gilbert also poured their effort in creating such a glorious dessert buffet. Andy turns 1! | A Bear Themed Party
Andy is the very cute daughter of my high school classmate Danica. Funny, whenever I try to look back for my memories with “Dada” as we fondly called her before, I’d find myself laughing out loud because life for us was just so wacky! Hearing her and her barkada’s laughter is still so fresh, it seems like it was just yesterday when our classrooms exploded with our craziness. Raine’s Candy Land Birthday Bash!
On the wedding day when we do our photo shoots, we do have a limited amount of time to really build friendship with our clients. However, it’s very touching when even after the wedding, when our clients get to celebrate new miletones in their lives, they’d remember us too! This way we get to meet every one in the family again and it feels like a mini reunion! A few years ago I got to be on the team that photographed Em and Raje’s Wedding. The Super Dad Birthday Bash | Stacy’s Capitol Greenstreet
Every now and then we encounter shoots that help us cherish family ties aswell. A few months ago, Joy, daughter of Tito Rene approached our team in preparation for a surprise birthday bash which they were giving their dad. By the way, they did refer to him as SUPERDAD! It was held at Stacy’s, a sweet ang cozy restaurant at Capitol Greenstreet Commercial Center. What’s nice about this event was the attendance of their family members from all over the Philippines and not to mention, all over the world.
