Tala’s Baptism at Sacred Heart Parish Shrine
During the GCQ, we had a chance to be able to welcome Tala to the Christian World. Even if a lot of protocols are already being observed at the church, and things do seem a lot different from how we did things before, we may still be comforted by the thought that Jesus is the same everywhere. He hears us, wherever, and whenever we pray. Even in our silence, He is there. It is my first time to see my “home-court” in five months. This is where I go to mass ever since I was little. Sitting near the front pews while waiting for my friends Francis and Bea, never…

Olivia’s Baptism | Mt. Carmel, Quezon City
Our family is God's first gift to us. This is a message that I always get reminded of whenever I shoot events like baptismal ceremonies. I enter the church premises with my gear on hand and "work-to-do" but I also believe that my own Father, God, is happy to see me come home to him whenever I get to serve in His house.

Talia’s Baptism Reception | Happy Garden Cafe
Because there is always something to be thankful for, the family has plenty of reasons to come together and celebrate! Talia’s Baptism was followed by an intimate party held at Happy Garden Cafe ( Jupiter Street). The sweets buffet and stage setup was done by the amazing Angie Metin. 🙂 I suggest that you scroll down slowly so that you can savor every treat she has put together for your super cute celebrant. I was also given a plant after the event – Thank You Reyes Fam! – ( Proud to say that I’ve managed to keep it alive as of this writing – woohoo for me!). It’s so cool…

Talia’s Baptism | Santuario de San Antonio
The journey of a thousand miles must begin…with God 🙂 The Reyes Family ( Girlie, Migs and Kuya Quino) has been gifted with yet another blessing and she goes by the name Talia. We celebrated together during the day of her Baptism, at Santuario de San Antonio, where friends and loved ones came to make more good memories. We have a side-story by the way. Mommy Girlie made the day extra special by decorating the candles with one of my most favorite craft items — WASHI TAPE! 🙂 She managed to get some rolls of the designs that she wanted online, and because of that, we’ve got more candle photos…

The Burger is OUT! | Francis & Bea’s Baby Shower Story | Stacy’s BGC
A few weeks back we had a surprise party for Bea, which was all planned by her funny husband, Francis. But as of this writing their Baby, “Burger” had already said hello to the world, yesterday! Hehe cute. I believe she’s made the world a better place already, just by making Bea a mother and Francis, a Father. 🙂 Can you believe it? Next year, they will be greeting each other already “Happy Mother’s Day ” and “Happy Father’s Day!” Kidding aside, this couple is notorious for having tons of laugh out loud moments. It’s really part of their character to pop out jokes and funny musings that people just…

Kendra’s Baptism | St. John Paul 2 Parish, Eastwood
Photographing events allows me to become the family historian even just for a day. With this comes telling about celebrations and milestones that bring members closer. For this shoot, we first wrote in pictures about our cute little celebrant, Kendra. I hope one day that these photos will always remind her that she is loved. 🙂 Baptism: St. John Paul II Parish, Eastwood Reception : Hotel Celeste Cake: Estrels’ Party Favors: Calligraffi ( beermugs)

Milestones with the Medinas | Liam’s Baptism at Santuario de San Antonio
Counting years together with the Medina family has been made extra special because they keep on celebrating their milestones at Santuario de San Antonio. From their wedding to the baptism of their first born Luis, who is now a kuya to our celebrant Liam, Enrik & Debbie kept on coming back to where they first began: HOME. 🙂 Reception followed at the very beautiful and intricate Casa Real. These milestones truly become mini-reunions for family and friends. I saw lots of familiar faces and — even though I don’t know their names, seeing them event after event, makes me feel as if they are already my … cousins! hahaha! It’s just…

Aria’s Christening Party | Cafe Enye, Eastwood
Together with Mom Abu, Dad Bede, and older brother Bastien, Aria Renee was welcomed to God’s family through a short but sweet ceremony that was held on June 24, 2017, at Christ the King Church, White Plains. It’s really very touching to see and watch friends and family come together to celebrate each other’s milestones. It’s like a reunion too, for friends who have not seen each other for a long time. At the stylish and homey Cafe Enye, guests were treated to a sumptuous lunch buffet. The place was packed with loads of good food, laughter and good memories. As of this writing, I believe some of Abu and Bede’s…

Seconds with Val | Celebrating New Chances
The house isn’t empty. 🙂 My friend Val, escaped the fire that broke into their home a few months back. Had she not, I would have been shooting walls. Only walls filled with faint memories of her, and me being left clueless about what she was last thinking, or feeling, or doing. When I met her, a few days after the incident, she said, “Buhay Ako!”. And I think I replied something like … You don’t know how happy I am to hear that. And no matter how cinematic it might have looked and sounded, we did hug like we have never hugged before. ( Insert tears here). 😛 I…
