High Tea Party with Cara | A Bridal Shower Story | Jackson Park, San Juan
I have always believed that special occasions are made even more memorable when you are able to celebrate it with your loved ones. I have been on the preparation side of bridal showers myself before, with my high school kabarkadas and yes... It’s always a riot! While I was shooting, I remembered too how it feels to string together a small, private / intimate / secret party with just one goal in mind: having a good time with the bride! Plus loads of laughter of course. It feels very nice to make someone important to you, feel special don’t you think? And together with Cara’s lady loved ones, this is exactly what we did. Girl Powah!
How lovely to know that this bridal shower, was also created so that the ladies of the two families, could get to know each other in advance. By the end of August, they will again come together to party, when Cara an Mike get to tie the knot on their wedding day.
Cara’s bridal shower was held in Jackson Park ( San Juan). I arrived at the shoot with Cara’s bride squad, Rica and Tisha glamming up the venue with their amazing decorating skills.
Games and activities for the guests were also being prepared at this time. They sourced out all the items found in the super dainty dessert buffet that seem to have bloomed out of nowhere. (Scroll to the end, because they shared with us where they got them!). Except for one special item – The cookies which were baked by Rica, Cara’s sister!
Cara 🙂
Meet our hosts! Surprise, it’s also this dynamic duo! With the special participation of Tisha’s baby girl. We were told that, Ube is really one of Cara’s favorites 🙂
As soon as Cara arrived, the room became flooded with smiles and laughter — an afternoon well spent, I believe. 🙂
Let the games begin!
Here’s a “bring-me” bridal shower version!
