Unicorn Party at Kidzoona UP Town Center

Woohoo! A Unicorn Party! I have featured parties held at Kidzoona a couple of times in this blog. And I still love shooting there. Caitlin has turned seven and what I notice about seven year-old’s parties, is that there has to be some form of play time, or physical activity instead of the kids just watching a magic show or something. They like being part of the experience instead of just being bystanders.

I like keeping shoots short and quick whenever I can, so that I don’t take too much time from our client’s program. But I must say… our celebrant Caitlin really loves being in front of the camera ( she said so herself!). That makes our job so much easier.

While I like shooting kids, I equally look forward to seeing their parents have fun, and unleash the kid in them. It fills my heart to see this. It’s one of the things that I look forward to seeing, as an artist. Why? Because while kids will always be the joy their parents, I know that when the children grow up, their parents smile and laughter will mean so much more.
