Concio Family Portraits | Smart Parenting

A few months back, we were given the honor of meeting such a cool and extremely creative family — The Concio Family. We worked with Smart Parenting ‘s Lei Sison this time for a feature on their website which was especially written for expectant moms ( Preggy Chronicles). In this article, moms will get to read about fun facts about Mom Carla’s pregnancy and how they take care of their daughters Julia and Talia, together with Dad Francis.

Prior to our photo shoot, I had first chanced upon the super talented Concio Sister’s performance at ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra’s Disney In Concert: Tale as Old As Time ( November 19-20 2016). I caught the show through the invitation of my mom and sister. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect since I just had free day at that time. But, I swear never again to underestimate the power of a simple Yes. Julia and Talia were so tiny compared to the stage, but when they sang the first few lines of “Do you want to build a snowman ( Frozen)”, you really just can’t help but smile from ear to ear. 🙂

The experience was like having a merry mix of emotions from melting out of cuteness, to totally loving the song yet trying not to sing loudly, to having goosebumps, and also to wanting to hug them for being really really awesome that day. The show was amazing and I found myself talking to my cousins and friends about it for the next few weeks. I hope they do another concert like this soon. I guess, once a Disney kid, always a Disney Kid 🙂

What I loved about the experience of photographing their family, is how Carla and Francis just allow their kids to be comfortable in talking with just about anybody. The girls were sociable, confident and really fun and entertaining to listen to. Being exposed to art, creativity and music all the time because of their parents and family, also helps the girls enjoy this season of their lives. Start ’em young!
