Tea Time with Elize| Unilab Bayanihan Center
I often hear at Church or whenever I get to hear inspiring talks on family life and parenting every now and then, that “Your family is your first ministry”. For Marge and Erik, holding an event where their huge family can come together to celebrate is a gesture of their love for togetherness and quality time. Even though Elize is still too little and too young to remember, they are already laying down some touch stones or memories for Elize to hold on to when she grows older.
They prepared for a her a stylish and wonderful event that was well attended by family and friends who, one day, Elize will treat as her role models in life.  I heard that they were able to tap the expertise of her very own aunts for the occasion ( Her Birthday Cake and Birthday Dress), which makes Elize’s party even more special and noteworthy — family serving family. 🙂 Truly, they’ve got skillz! I wouldn’t be surprised if one day, Elize would decide to follow in their footsteps, or the like.
Either way, we’re all celebrating what she is now, and of course, what she is yet to become as she unfolds in the next couple of years with her own potentials.
One of the high-lights of the event was the presence of ballerinas 🙂 It reminded me of the time when we got to cover a wedding in Batangas where ballerinas were also part of the production as dancing flower girls and bridesmaids. They lined up at the aisle while waiting for the bride. It turns out, they are from the same group! The Halili Cruz School of Ballet did two numbers, gracing the occasion with a touching performance of Disney’s “A Whole New World” and “A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes.”.  Being a Disney Fan myself, I couldn’t help to feel like my heart grew so big, that it broke my rib cage – haha!.
Anyway, enjoy the photos!
